Hi dear SD users, hi dear SD team!
I hope my topic hasn't been discussed before (please delete then). I used the search but didn't find anything like that.
First and foremost: I know that SD is primarily a VFR tool but since starting my IR, I use SD for IFR flights and love the low level airways view, the possibility to download IFR plates and the approach overlays. So, I totally appreciate SD and don't think about switching to Foreflight or whatever.
But one thing I would like to suggest: Is it possible to make the SID's and STAR's as overlays? When having a lot of stress during an arrival or departure, it would help a lot to easily see minimum altitudes, speed restrictions and so on instead of switching between map and chart.
Best regards
Patrick

Hi, and thank you for your kind words about SkyDemon.
It's certainly possible, but it would be a lot of additional work for us to georeference those charts and we do not get a lot of demand for them.

Hey Tim!
Thx for your answer. I totally understand that. Is it maybe a simple workaround to make SID/STAR charts slightly transparent over the map (or just a part of the map) instead of downloading them and opening in a new window?
Regards
Patrick
